The working pressure of the melt pump: the inlet pressure of the melt pump does not need to be too high, generally 3-5 MPa, and the inlet pressure required for high-viscosity fluids is higher. Sometimes in order to enhance the mixing effect of the melt in the extrusion screw, the screw head needs a higher pressure to increase the reflux. At this time, the inlet pressure of the melt pump can be increased. The inlet pressure of the melt gear pump can be easily obtained by adjusting the upstream device (such as an extruder) to match the flow rate of the melt pump. The large pressure difference of the melt pump reflects the pressure building capacity of the melt pump, and the sum of the inlet pressure and the pressure difference is the outlet pressure. The outlet pressure of the melt pump depends on the shape of the die, the viscosity of the melt, the flow rate and other factors. When the user chooses the working temperature and working pressure of the melt pump, it shall meet the requirements of use as the criterion, and it is not necessary to select an excessively high level. Because the melt pump can work normally under high temperature and high pressure, it depends on the special material, structure and corresponding power device of the melt pump. Melt pumps with high temperature and pressure resistance have high production costs.
The working temperature of the melt pump: The working temperature of the melt pump generally reaches 300 degrees Celsius, which can meet the requirements of transporting most plastic melts. The higher temperature melt pump (ZB-F gear pump for reaction kettle) can reach 500 degrees Celsius. . The working pressure of melt pump is usually expressed by three parameters, namely inlet pressure, outlet pressure and pressure difference. Generally, the maximum inlet pressure of the melt pump is 10-12MPa, the maximum outlet pressure is 35MPa, and the maximum pressure difference is 25MPa. The ZB-F high temperature and high pressure melt pump provided by Zhengzhou Bate has a large inlet pressure of up to 20MPa, a large outlet pressure of up to 70MPa, and a large pressure difference of up to 50MPa.
